Here is what we will be making.

Please shade in the method used in the tutorial using the following images as your guide.

May I suggest shading the door and window first, each on a separate layer and then go back and shade the body of the house.

draw your window dividers like this and shade around the window using the same color as you are shading the house to add depth:

Shade the door as show below adding shadow around the door using the same colors as your house just like the window:

on a new layer, shade the house as below:

Once you are satisfied with the shading, we will add some dithering to blend the colors. You don't have to have yours exactly as mine, but as close as you can get to the image below:

new layer, shade the vine:

Next, let's color the roof of our our house:

Then add some embellishments to the roof, and don't forget to color the lamp.

Once you are happy with your results, you may submit it in gif or psd format.
